Ward was born in MonroeLouisianaon April 15,1976. She attended a private Christian primary school, called Monroe Christian School. Ward attended Ouachita high school in the parish to complete her secondary schooling. After that, she attended River Oaks High School the summer following her senior year. She was a student at Northeast Louisiana University briefly after graduation. Ward began modeling when she was thirteen. She left school to move in New York. In the years following, she also decided to try acting. At first, in the 1970s she was a character who wasn't credited in All My Children. A few years later she was a part of the NBC premiertime drama for teens Malibu Shores. The soap for daytime Sunset Beach cast Ward as the virgin Meg Cummings in late 1996. The year 1999 saw her career in film began by playing Brittany Foster (the psychotic Brittany Foster) in the romantic thriller The In Crowd. It was not a big hit in the theaters however, it was a huge success in the home a
